Hi, I’m Rob Nunnery, host and founder of Fail On, a podcast and community that embraces and celebrates failure… knowing that the only true failure is not trying.
Fail On was created through a moment I experienced in Winter 2013.
I was 28, sitting in a warm, cozy coffee shop on St. Simons Island, GA, a charming little coastal town about an hour south of Savannah, GA.
Life was simple and good. I had a good job working remotely for a San Francisco health tech startup. Cost of living was very low: money wasn’t an issue and my quality of life was great. Two years into marriage, despite typical newlywed struggles, we loved each other more everyday.
Yet, even with all this comfort, I was absolutely miserable inside. I felt an extremely deep sorrow and disappointment with myself. The pain of not living my potential had finally become greater than the comfort of the life I lived.
I knew in my soul to the deepest core that I was capable of much more than what I had been producing. I had screwed around in all of these different businesses and just felt absolutely hopeless. Looking out over a marsh through the coffee shop window, I began to cry uncontrollably. I can step back and recall that pain today. It still hurts.
And I know that a lot of people out there currently feel that exact same way.
That’s why I am launching Fail On.
Trying is winning. Heck, failing is winning. Not trying is the only true failure.
This community isn’t about me, it’s about you.
I’m not here to talk about me, but I do want you to know who I am and that my mission is to support you in every way possible on your journey. I’m here as your biggest fan, to support you with tools and resources that allow you to live the life you have always dreamed of having.
My ultimate goal and vision for this community is to create freedom for more people than anyone before us.
What’s In It For You?
Here’s where I get excited!
Fail On is built to get you back into the driver’s seat of your own life, where you have freedom.
We live for freedom at Fail On.
It’s not just financial freedom, but also the more important and less talked about one…time freedom. The time to do what you want to do. The time freedom that allows you to hang with your spouse and your kids all day on a Wednesday, just because. The time freedom that allows you to live wherever you want and to travel whenever you want.
We will help you grow at least 1% every week while embracing and celebrating micro-failures to move you closer to your goals.
Listen to the podcast and learn how important it is to shift your mindset and become a DOER.
Every week on the Fail On Podcast, you will hang out with myself and a new guest that has experienced repeated failures only to come out the other side having created their dream life.
Take their lessons, their mistakes, their failures to inspire you into action. Know that they were scared to fail as well. The only difference between them and you is that they embraced, leaned into, and celebrated those failures to catapult them forward.
I look forward to our journey together as we all Fail On to freedom!
